Bronto Software Reports Strong Growth in 2005

Email marketing software company achieves 104% revenue growth and acquires 360 new clients

Durham, NC - (January 25, 2006) - Bronto Software, Inc., a leading provider of email marketing software, announced 104% revenue growth in 2005. Additionally, Bronto welcomed 360 new clients to its web-based email marketing software during the year. New clients included: Juniper Networks, Progress Energy, Capital Broadcasting, Telluride Ski Resort, American University, Hedgefund.net, USO (the United Service Organizations), Bell Leadership, Intersouth Partners and Global Giving.

During 2005, Bronto released six software updates which added a host of new features to its core product:

  1. Dynamic content options to create personalized messages versions
  2. Custom landing pages to help maintain consistent "look and feel"
  3. RSS capabilities to syndicate content
  4. A/B splits to test email versions and subject lines

Bronto also launched an innovated online resource for email marketing statistics in 2005. Located at bronto.com/stats/, the site provides weekly updated email marketing metrics on over a dozen industries. The online resource and accompanying report give marketers an easy way to benchmark performance.
