Joe Colopy
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Joe Colopy is Founder and CEO of Bronto Software. As chief architect of Bronto’s strategic vision and direction, Joe has successfully led Bronto from concept to leading email marketing company focused on serving online retailers, interactive agencies, and marketing departments.

Recognized as a thought leader within the online marketing community, Joe has been a speaker at the DMA’s Email Evolution Conference and Shop.Org’s Annual Summit. He has also been featured in media outlets such as NPR’s Marketplace, Entrepreneur Magazine, MediaPost, DMNews, ClickZ, Internet Retailer and BtoB Magazine.

Prior to founding the company in 2002, Joe’s past professional experience has been with market leaders Red Hat, Harvard Business School and Dell Computer. He has been selected for the Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Leadership award and Business Leader’s Triangle Entrepreneur Impact Award.

Joe received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
